Sanju Samson has won the hearts of millions of Indian Cricket fans with his performance in the West Indies series. Now the dashing wicket keeper has impressed the whole country with his gesture when he asked a journalist to travel with them in the team bus.
Sanju’s IPL team Rajasthan Royals recently posted a video of a journalist, Vimal Kumar who talked about Samson’s impressive gesture.
In a recent interview he has described an incident about Sanju Samson. The journalist said, “Today, I will talk about humanity. There’s this perception about Indian cricketers that they are superstars and don’t entertain others that much, but there’s this player who has stolen my heart on this tour and his name is Sanju Samson.”
He continued,” I once met him right here and got a chance to interact with him. During the conversation I said that the first T20 match is quite far from here.”
He also expressed that he would face difficulty to reach there in time. But then Sanju’s reply won the hearts of the veteran journalist. Sanju replied, “Why don’t you join us?”

The journalist remained amazed with this offer but said it’s not possible as it’s the team bus and others aren’t allowed. Sanju insisted and asked him where he’s from. He replied he has come to cover the series from India. Sanju’s reply was that it’s not a big deal. As an Indian it’s his duty to help a fellow Indian.
The journalist remained firm on his decision as he knew that even if Sanju wants or may be coach or captain wants, it’s not possible for him to travel in the team bus as there are some BCCI protocols that journalists can’t travel with the team.
He replied to Sanju that it’s not possible for him to travel with them but the offer Sanju made has won his heart.
He also described how the Indian team needs such characters. Players will come and go but having a kind heart like Sanju Samson makes him a better person. He also wished Sanju to perform well in the next matches. Not only that, he also wants Sanju to lead the Indian team in future as he has the same leadership capabilities within him as Rohit Sharma or Shikhar Dhawan.
He also recalled their past interview when Sanju used to play for Delhi Daredevils in IPL.
Sanju has shown his class in the ODI series and played a crucial role in the 2nd ODI. Now he has been selected in the T20I squad as KL Rahul is ruled out from the series. After waiting for so long, the huge fanbase of Sanju Samson is witnessing the full potential of this utility wicket-keeper batsman.
