Zimbabwe cricket team created history as they qualified in super 12 of T20 World Cup for the first time.
Scotland after getting invited by Zimbabwe to bat first set total of 132/6 runs in 20 overs on the board. George Munsey was the top-scorer of Scotland innings who made 54 runs in 51 balls. Richard Ngarava & Tendai Chatara picked 2-2 wickets from Zimbabwe side.
While chasing the target, Craig Evine hammered 58 runs in 54 balls. Evine got a good support from in form batter Sikandar Raza who played a blistering knock of 40 runs in 23 balls. Zimbabwe chased with 9 balls to spare by losing 5 wickets.
After Ireland, Zimbabwe surprised everyone after qualifying in super 12 from Group A. After the historical victory, Zimbabwe fans who were enjoying the match on TV, started celebrating and dancing. Many of the spectators who were Zimbabwe fans were also witnessed relishing the very moment.
