Watch: Washington Sundar gets a dream start in County Championship

Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar gets a dream start in County Championship as he took on the second ball.

Washington Sundar has been contracted with the Lancashire Club in the County Championship. Lancashire is taking on Northamptonshire and it’s Sundar’s first match in the English Domestic Championship.

He didn’t take long to leave his impact on the game as he dismissed New Zealand batter Will Young, who is also the captain of the Northamptonshire team.

Sundar bowled an outside off stump short pitch delivery which Young looked to cut but the ball got his outside edge and the Keeper took the catch.

Sundar is making his comeback to regular cricket after his injury and he took County as the first step of it.

He had an interview on the YouTube channel where he said that Lancashire has always been his favorite club. He used to play with this club on the PlayStation and Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson are his favourite players.

He is looking forward to meeting these two legends during his stay in Manchester.

Sundar has announced his comeback quite well. Now if he can continue his flow with the bat too he will certainly arise a good opportunity to come back into the mainstream of the Indian National Cricket team.
