Virat Kohli departed early on Day 1 of the first test against Bangladesh.
Bangladesh after winning the toss, invited India to bat first. India lost its first wicket on the score of 41 in the form of Shubman Gill who gifted his wicket playing a reckless shot. Captain Kl Rahul followed his partner after scoring 22 off 54 deliveries.
In form Virat Kohli who hit hundred in his last game against Bangladesh, failed to contribute this time and gave his wicket to Taijul Islam, who picked his second wicket of the innings. Taijul’s delivery spun and hit Virat Kohli’s pad who was attempting to play the shot on back-foot.
India is currently batting on the score of 164 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. Rishabh Pant departed after scoring well-made 46. Cheteshwar Pujara (39) & Shreyas Iyer (34) are batting at the moment building 64-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
