Virat Kohli hammered his 44th ODI hundred on Saturday.
In the third & final ODI match of the series, Virat Kohli slammed his 44th ODI hundred and helped India win the game. Kohli faced 91 balls and scored 113 runs before getting out. It was his first century in the format in 1214 days and after 25 innings.
Kohli smashed his 43rd ODI hundred against West Indies 3 years ago just after Cricket World Cup 2019. Kohli completed his most awaited hundred with a six and while celebrating the hundred, he uttered “Three F**king Years” to KL Rahul.
With this hundred, Kohli went past Ponting (71) in most international centuries list. Apart from Kohli, Ishan Kishan also created a new record of becoming the fastest double ton hitter in ODI cricket in 126 deliveries. India scored 409 in the innings, which is their fourth highest ODI total.
