Virat Kohli is known for showing his aggressiveness & having banter with the opposition players.
One similar instance was witnessed during the second test between India & Bangladesh in Mirpur. On the second day of the test match, Najmul Hossain was trying to waste the time waiting for umpire to call off the day as the lights were getting dim. In order to waste his time, Hossain started tying his laces at non-strikers’s end.
Virat Kohli who was standing in the slips, did not like the gesture of Najmul. Kohli pretended to take off his jersey by taking a jab at Najmul. With this gesture of him, Kohli wanted to say “Shirt bhi khol le apna” (Open your shirt as well).
Bangladesh lost 3 of their wickets at the score of 58 in the form of Najmul Hossain, Shakib Al hasan & Mominul Haq. Earlier, India posted 314 runs total in their first innings owing tở stupendous half centuries of Rishabh Pant (93) & Shreyas Iyer (86).
