Virat Kohli struck his 45th ODI hundred and celebrated it in an aggressive style.
In the first ODI between India & Sri Lanka in Guwahati, Indian batters wrecked havoc on Sri Lankan bowlers after batting first. The duo of Rohit Sharma & Shubman Gill gave a fiery start to India as they added 143 runs for the first wicket in just 19.4 overs.
Shubman Gill amassed 70 runs off 60 deliveries whereas Rohit Sharma hammered quick fire 86 runs in 67 balls. After that it was Virat Kohli who manifested his elegance throughout his innings as he scored his 65th ODI fifty in 47 balls. Kohli did not take time to reach his hundred.
By smashing a six, Kohli completed his 45th ODI hundred in style. He celebrated his hundred in an aggressive style by taking a long jump while running. Kohli finished his innings on 113 runs off 86 deliveries. Owing to his hundred & Rohit-Gill fifties, India posted a total of 367 runs on the board.
