Senior Indian pacer Umesh Yadav got a big deal while touring the UK with the Indian team for final India vs England test when county team Middlesex joined him up in replacement of Shaheen Afridi.
Middlesex was taking on Worcestershire, which was Umesh’s first County game. After scoring 188 in the first innings Middlesex reached 180/6 to put a huge lead on the opponent team.
Umesh took his first wicket in style by sending the stumps flying off Cornell. He broke Cornell’s defense and crashed his stumps. Cornell went to the pavilion on 11. Umesh bagged a good figure of 14-1-45-1 in his first appearance in County.

Without Umesh’s wicket, the other attraction of the match was former English legend batter Sir Alastair Cook’s century. He smashed his 73rd first-class century in this match.
Umesh is the latest Indian to join County cricket after Cheteshwar Pujara. The other two Indian all-rounders Krunal Pandya and Washington Sundar have also signed in County cricket for Warwickshire and Lancashire respectively.
