Team England is playing a 3-match away ODI series against the neighbour Netherlands. And all the thunderbolts have already been started from the first ODI match by English batters, which was being played at the VRA cricket ground in the Netherlands.
They smashed a record number of 26 sixes in their innings and set up a no possible target of 499 in front of the Dutch team. In reply Netherland could only fight until they get all out on 266.
The start was not so good for the British batters though four English batsmen scored a ton. Opener Jason Roy went back pavilion after adding only 1 run while the other opener Phil Salt made a century but couldn’t prolong his innings and got out at 122 with three sixes. The promising batter David Malan scored 125 with help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. But the main attraction was the partnership of the dashing English batsman Jos Buttler and Liam Livingstone who scored respectively 164(70 balls) and 66(22 balls).
They set the flight of the ball at every corner of the park as Jos smashes 14 enormous sixes and Liam sent the ball 6 times out of the ground. With the combined effort England put up a huge score of 498 runs which is also a world record.

The aggressive nature of English batters has always been praised which they had adopted after the 2015 world cup. In the meantime, they had been able to secure the World Cup,2019 on their home soil. The only matter of concern is the form of their captain, Eoin Morgan. He went back pavilion on duck. If he also comes back in form this English team can steal sleep from the opponent’s eyes.
