Mumbai captain Prithvi Shaw got engaged in an unfair event by involving in a heated argument with the umpire.

Mumbai is playing in the Ranji Trophy Final against Madhya Pradesh at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Madhya Pradesh took the control of the match after Mumbai could reach 374 with Sarfaraz Khan’s century. But it was Shubham Sharma and Yash Dubey’s 222 runs long partnership that give MP the control of the match and Rajat Patidar’s century took Madhya Pradesh well ahead of Mumbai in this final.

It was a long day for the Mumbai fielders on the ground as the long partnership was going on. The Mumbai fielders were losing their cools on many occasions. Once they thought they got Subham Sharma caught behind but Umpire had given not out. The situation didn’t prolong as they took him off in the very next delivery.

But the situation got worse during the 125th over of the MP innings. On the fourth ball, Mohit Avasthi struck the ball on MP captain Aditya Shrivatstava’s pads. The whole team raised a loud appeal but the Umpire remained unshaken. Mumbai captain Prithvi Shaw lost his cool. The umpires didn’t neglect this time. And warned the Mumbai captain for excessive appealing. But it has been seen in the video that Mumbai Captain kept on arguing with the umpires. Though in the replay it was clear that the umpire gave the correct decision.

Though Mumbai hit twice the Madhya Pradesh picking up two wickets in quick succession, it was not enough to take the control of the match from MP as they had already taken the lead of 100 runs and looked well settled at the score of 475/6 at the the the this moment.
