The grand final of the historic tournament is going on at M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium, Bengaluru between Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh. MP is in a very commendable position after day 3 with a score of 368 for 3 wickets with help of a 222 runs long partnership between Yash Dubey (133) and Shubham Sharma (116). In the later end, Rajat Patidar (67*) ensured that Madhya Pradesh would finish the day, staying the upper hand. At this position, MP is only six runs behind Mumbai.
The most exciting part of the day was when Rajat Patidar came into bat after pacer Mohit Awasthi dismissed Shubham Sharma. Rajat Patidar currently plays for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and this season he had a brilliant flow with the bat for them. The Bengaluru crowds erupt into “RCB RCB” chants at the moment he came into bat showing their support for their home-franchise batsman.
The batter didn’t disappoint them either and scored an unbeaten 67 till the end of the day. Now the crowd will be surely expecting a ton from the promising batter and Patidar also would look to provide the crowd more enjoyment as well as to ensure their first Ranji title.
