English batsman Jos Buttler is in the outrageous form to show any mercy on the bowler and hits a massive six against the Dutch bowler in the 3rd ODI of the Ongoing England vs Nederland Series.
Nederland is hosting England in the home series for a 3-match ODI series at VRA Cricket Stadium but is unable to win a single match against the English and lose the series by a 0-3 margin.
The last match was to be played on Wednesday. England’s captain chooses to bowl by winning the toss. Nederland could put up a score of 244 which England chased down easily with the 31st over with tame of Jason Roy and Jos Buttler. Roy smashed 101, Jos scored 86(64) while David Willey’s 4-fer helped England to restrict the opponent in such a small total.
But the key attraction of the match was Jos Buttler’s monstrous hit on a loose ball of Paul Van Meekern. The ball was way outside leg stamp and reach but Buttler showed no mercy and chased down it to send it over the park. The crowd’s reaction was amazing, they also weren’t believing what they had just seen. The same thing the cricket world witnessed a few months ago when David Warner sent a double-pitched delivery to the stand in the ICC World T20 semifinal against Pakitan.
Buttler managed to hit two more sixes in the over and smashed total of 5 sixes innings. The stand-in captain hit the first ball of 31st over for a six straight down the ground and clinched a clean sweep over the hosts. Due to his marvelous performance over the series, he was also declared the Man of the Series.
