Indian young star Rishabh Pant padel-scoops fast bowler Umesh Yadav for a six over the fine leg on the ongoing warm-up game between India and Leicestershire.
India is going to play in only a test match against England from 1st July. Before that India is having a warm-up match. Some of the Indian players are playing for the Leicestershire team. Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first and declared the innings on 246/8 and put Leicestershire to bat.
After Pujara returned pavilion on a duck all eyes were on wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and he doesn’t disappoint his fans and scored 76 out of 82. He started his innings with rapid pace and hit Umesh and Siraj for 25 runs on just 9 deliveries.
The main attraction of his inning was his shot over fine leg which he hit on his teammate Umesh Yadav’s ball that results in a six. It was a ball outside leg in which Pant bent down and scooped and brought up his 50 in style. The video didn’t take any time to get viral on social media. Fans get overwhelmed with the shot.
But he fall short of a century when he tried to slog Ravindra Jadeja but got the top edge and got caught. But Pant would get more confidence with this innings which will give him more boost before the much aawaited for India vs England test match.
