Jasprit Bumrah gave an epic reply to the Ex- English Cricketer Mark Butcher at the toss that won the hearts of the Indian cricket fans.
Much-awaited India vs England test match has started from 1st July at Edgbaston. In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah is in charge of leading his country for the first time and he won every Indian fan’s heart with his answer at the toss.
Bumrah was asked to share his feelings about being captain for the first time. He replied he is feeling very honoured to do this role and will give his 100% as it is every cricketers’ dream to lead his country and he got the opportunity. But the next question, waiting for the Indian pacer was a tricky one. Butcher asked Bumrah How he is feeling, as a fast bowler never captained India in tests before. Bumrah gave an instant reply that he is not the first one. Legendary Kapil Dev was also captain of India once. The conversation was something like this –

Though Bumrah lost the toss and the Indian team was put in to bat first. After having some initial setbacks, the partnership of Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja took India to a commendable position. Pant returned to the pavilion after smashing a mind-blowing 146 runs. Jaddu is still at the crease on 83 along with Md. Shami. India is currently on 338/7. Now, all eyes are on Jaddu if he can score his century and take India to a strong position.
