Umran Malik again showed power of his raw pace in Irani trophy game against Saurashtra.
Irani trophy is played between Ranji Trophy winner and the rest of the India. Saurashtra were the champions of Ranji Trophy 2019-20. Talking about the game, Rest of the India chose to bowl first after winning the toss.
Rest of the India bowlers put off a great fight and bundled out Saurashtra’s innings on just 98 runs. Mukesh Kumar bagged 4 wickets in the first innings while Umran and Kuldeep bagged three wickets each.
In the 16th over, Umran Malik came to bowl to Saurashtra batter Jaydev Unadkat. Malik bowled a fierce yorker on which Unadkat did not have any clue. The terrific yorker knocked off Unadkat’s stumps.
Umran Malik impressed everyone with his stupendous performance in IPL 2022. J&K bowler picked 22 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 20 and economy of 9. As a reward, Malik has got call-up to travel with Indian team for Australia.
