Umran Malik showed his pace once again and this time against Derbyshire in a warm-up match when he rattled down Brooke Guest’s middle stump.

India faced Derbyshire in a warm-up match against the limited over series against England. Derbyshire batted first and put up a score of 150 in their 20 overs which the Indian team easily chased down. But Umran Malik stole the show when he dislodged Guest’s middle stump with his pace. It was a fast delivery that Guest wanted to slog over mid-wicket but he missed the ball completely and the ball crashed onto his middle stumps. The stump went a few far trembling around.
Here’s the Video:
In his four-over, Umran conceded 31 runs but took 2 wickets as well. Arshdeep Singh kept the thing tight and also got 2 wickets.
In batting, Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson shined again. Hooda scored 59 while Sanju smashed an eye-catching 38.
But every other performance gets overshadowed by the young pacer’s fiery delivery. Though Umran will not be part of the Indian team from the 2nd T20I. But if he can continue his performance like this, he will surely be an integral part of the Indian team soon
