Watch – Umpiring error in BPL which stunned all the players
Multiple instances of erroneous umpiring have been witnessed Bangladesh Premiere League (BPL) 2023.
During one of the games, one more umpiring error was seen. When Mahedi Hasan bowled a delivery outside off-stumps, batter tried to smash the balls towards the off-side but the ball took an edge of the bat and went behind the wicket-keeper but the on-field umpire signalled the delivery a wide ball which made bowling team players scratch their heads.
In the same game, Bangladesh test captain Shakib Al Hasan got furious over umpire’s decision. Playing for Fortune Barishal, Bangladesh Test captain Shakib Al hasan was agitated when the on-field umpire did not signal for wide for a bouncer delivery. Shakib was seen in anger and started shouting at the umpire. He also marched towards the umpire and shared few words.
