Team India were welcomed in a grand way in Thiruvananthapuram.
After witnessing a comfortable win by 4 wickets against Sri Lanka in the second ODI in Eden Gardens, Kolkata and taking unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series, Team India landed to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on Friday for the third & final game of the series.
BCCI posted a video on their twitter handle captioning “Hello Trivandrum 👋🏻 We are here for the 3️⃣rd and final #INDvSL ODI ✅.” After reaching Thiruvananthapuram, traditional Kathakali dancers alongside drum beaters welcomed Indian players including Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohi, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and others.
After reaching Thiruvananthapuram, Team India, Indian players – Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav and team India’s throwdown specialist Raghu visited the renowned Padmanabhaswamy temple and offered prayers. The players had worn traditional attire – white dhoti and angavastram.
