In the second T20 between New Zealand and India, Suryakumar Yadav again showed his skills, this time batting at number 3. However, India did not have a good start when Surya came to bat as India lost their opener Rishabh Pant just before powerplay end over.
After that, Surya and Ishan tried to buildup partnership but Ishan departed on the score of 36 and India lost two wickets on 56 inside 9 overs. But Surya did not hesitate to whack big shots and kept showing his terror. He smacked his half century in just 27 deliveries.
After facing 49 balls, Surya smashed his second T20I hundred and finished his innings on 111 runs in 51 balls. In his destructive innings, he slammed 11 fours & 7 sixes. Now he has 7 fifty plus scores at over 200 Strike Rate out of 14 he has scored in the T20i format.
