The 3rd T20I and the Series decider is being played at the Rose Bowl, Southampton. England’s Captain Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bat first.
South Africa put on a strong total of 191 runs at the end of 20 overs. Hendricks once again performed very well with the bat and he smashed his third consecutive fifty of the series. He scored brilliant 70 runs off 50 balls with 9 fours in his innings. Aiden Markram scored a brilliant fifty as well and contributed 51 runs to the total.
At the end of the innings, the 21 years old Sensation, Tristan Stubbs came to bat and he smashed 8 runs in 4 balls and got out on the last ball of the innings. He couldn’t get his full chance to show his hands with the bat but when he came to the field he took a stunning flying catch to dismiss Moeen Ali.
That was an unbelievable grab with one hand and his body was in the air. The Proteas team has always been known for their fielding standards. This time the young lad, Tristan Stubbs left everyone surprised with his acrobatic catch on the field.
Tristan Stubbs is a great find for South Africa and he can be a huge asset for the team before the upcoming T20 World Cup. South Africa’s team looks very dangerous at the moment and they have all the stability in their team and who knows this may be their first chance to put their hands on the World Cup Trophy.
