Watch: ‘Superman’ Shreyas Saved a Six at boundary line

The first T20I between India and West Indies is being played at Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad. Captain Rohit Sharma lost the toss today and India were put into bat by West Indies. India managed to score a good total of 190 on that slow track.

For India, Captain Rohit Sharma played a very important knock of 64 runs in 44 balls. At the end, Dinesh Karthik played some majestic shots and took India to a very good total of 190 runs. Dinesh Karthik scored 41 runs off just 19 balls with a whopping strike rate of 215.8.

Team India need to defend this total to win the first game and start the series on a high note. West Indies lost 2 early wickets in runchase.

In the 5th over, Ravichandran Ashwin came to bowl and Captain Nicholas Pooran was in front of him and he smashed the very first ball by stepping down the wicket. It was certainly a six but the ‘Superman’ Shreyas saved that one by his acrobatic effort at the boundary line. That was a spectacular effort and every fan in the stadium applauded him for that effort.
