Steve Smith created another record in his splendid test career.
Regarded as the best batter of this generation, Smith scored his 29th test hundred in the ongoing test match against West Indies in Perth. Pat Cummins after winning the toss chose to bat first and Aussie batters didn’t miss a chance to score plenty of runs on batting paradise.
Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne made 251-run partnership for the third wicket. Marnus got out after scoring his second double ton while Steve Smith continued his exquisite batting and remained not out on 200-run before the innings declaration.
With the century of Smith, he equalled Don Bradman’s 29 test centuries. Smith took 88 matches to achieve this feat while Don Bradman took just 52 matches in scoring 29 centuries. Smith also reached at 14th position in most test centuries list, led by Sachin Tendulkar (49).
