Steve Smith continues his dream form as he smashed another ODI fifty.
In the second ODI game between Australia & England, Steve Smith again proved why he is called one of the best batters of this era. Smith slammed 94 runs in 114 balls and helped Australia reach 280-run-mark. During his innings, Smith tried to play an unorthodox shot.
In 32th over, when he was batting on 57 runs, Smith tried to imitate Kevin Pietersen by trying to play a switch-hit but Adil Rashid bowled that delivery cleverly so that it remains far from Smith’s bat and Smith missed the ball as he couldn’t connect with it.
England while chasing 281 runs bundled out for just 208. Sam Billings (71) was the top-scorer from English side followed by James Vince (60). Mitchell Starc who took 4W haul was adjudged player of the match.
