Steve Smith hammered his 30th test hundred in third third test.
On the Day 2 of test match between Australia & South Africa at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), Steve Smith smashed his 30th test hundred before getting out on the score of 104 off Keshav Maharaj’s delivery. With this hundred, Smith becomes the 2nd fastest to complete 30 Test hundreds after Sachin Tendulkar (innings).
Smith took 162 innings to complete his 30th hundred while Sachin Tendulkar scored his 30th hundred in 159th test innings. With the hundred, Smith also surpassed Rohit Sharma (41) to become the forth leading century scorer among current batters.
Apart from Smith’s brilliance, Usman Khawaja is inching towards his double ton. Khawaja is currently batting on 195 facing 368 balls. Travis Head too scored fantastic 70 runs in just 59 balls before getting out. Australia scored 475 runs at the loss of 4 wickets at stumps.
