A bizarre incident occurred during the second test match between South Africa & Australia.
On day 2 of second test match between Australia & South Africa in Melbourne on eve of Boxing Day, the spider-came knocked down South African pacer Anrich Nortje. It was such a rare incident as we don’t see often that technical implements harming sportsmen.
The incident occurred after the 47th over, when Australia were batting on 147/2. The spider-camera came down and struck Nortje from back when he was moving to take his fielding position between the overs.
Australia posted 386 runs at the loss of 3 wickets at Day 2 stumps. David Warner smashed his test hundred after 3 years in his 100th test game and then went on to convert it to double ton. Steve Smith gave a good support to Warner scoring 86 runs.
