India is taking on England in the semifinals of Commonwealth Games Womens Cricket Competition 2022. After defeating Pakistan and Barbados, Indian team are looking in a great flow.
India after winning the toss opted to bat first. Opener Shafali Verma departed on the score of 15 but Smriti Mandhana stood still at the crease and kept facing English bowlers with ease. With the help of 8 fours and 3 sixes, Smriti smacked 63 runs off 32 balls and scored her third half century of the tournament.

Apart from Smriti, Jemimah Rodrigues showed his immense class. 21-year-old smashed 44 runs off 33 deliveries with 8 scintillating boundaries. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur contributed 20 runs in 20 balls while Deepti Sharma scored 2 runs more than her in 20 deliveries.
India managed to put on 164 runs total on the board. From England side, Freya Kemp picked 2 wickets of Shafali Verma and Captain Harmanpreet Preet Kaur while K Brunt and N Sciver took 1-1 wicket each. India must be looking to defend the target to fix their place in the final and win gold medal for India.
