Suryakumar Yadav again proved why he is considered as ‘Indian Mr 360°’. Surya has variety of shots in his book which he utilizes so well. One new shot was witnessed from Surya’s bat against Windies.
Windies after winning the toss, invited India to bat first. India tried new opening partners in the form of Rohit Sharma & Suryakumar Yadav. In previous T20 series, we saw Rohit opening with Pant. This time Rohit got a new opening partner. Sky gave an outrageous start to India, by scoring runs with the run rate of 9 in 5 overs.
But the moment which caught everyone’s attention was the shot of Surya. On the 2nd delivery of 4th over, Alzaari Joseph bowled a fuller length delivery, Surya jumped across the stumps and smacked it towards the fine leg with his stupendous wrist work. The ball went for six. The shot had resemblance with MSD’s helicopter shot. However, Suryakumar departed after scoring 24 runs off 16 deliveries.

India is currently batting on 63 with the loss of 3 wickets. Shreyas Iyer walked towards pavilion scoring a duck and continued his poor run in T20I cricket. Rohit Sharma is batting on 28 runs facing 23 deliveries while Rishabh Pant has just come to bat.
