Md Siraj gave India a perfect start in the rain-interrupted 3rd ODI vs West Indies as he started with a double wicket maiden in his first over.
Earlier, India put up a score of 225/3 in 36 overs as the full 50 overs couldn’t be completed due to rain. Shubman Gill was stand-out performer with the bat as he smashed an unbeaten 98* runs before the rain stopped play.
India had a great start with the ball while defending. In the first ball of the second over, Md. Siraj cleaned up in-form Kyle Mayers for a duck with a beautiful inswinging delivery and then trapped Shamarh Brooks for a LBW on the 3rd ball of that over.

He didn’t concede any run on that over and started his spell with a double-wicket maiden. Siraj had only bowled 3 overs in this match but looked good. Among other bowlers going for runs, Siraj is one of the positives India will look up to as he bowled impressively in 3 ODIs. Siraj was also the hero of the 1st ODI as he defended 15 runs in the final over of that match.
