Watch – Shubman Gill disappeared during post match presentation
Shubman Gill kickstarted his ODI career with a bang. In his debut series against West Indies, he impressed everyone with his terrific performance scoring 2 fifties and one forty-plus score in the series.
Now, in the series against Zimbabwe, he whacked Zimbabwe bowlers with ease and helped India in registering victory by 10 wickets by playing a unbeaten innings of 82 runs. For his splendid performance, he was adjudged man of the match in the first ODI game.
After the game, during post match presentation, Shubman Gill was disappeared when Broadcaster called him out for the interview. Broadcaster Wilkins was waiting for Shubman to come and after waiting for few minutes when Wilkins was just above to move on with the presentation, Gill was seen coming down the stairs of the dressing room.
“While they look for Shubman… No, he is on his way. But we will tell you that he scored a very well-compiled 82 not out. It was as good as it gets. He can sprint because he is sprinting. Shubman, thanks very much,” Wilkins said. After that Shubman Gill collected his man of the match prize along with stylish player of the match award.
