There were many incidents occurred during the first encounter between India & West Indies. One of the incidents happened during 24th of second innings when Shreyas Iyer was seen dancing after taking a catch.
West Indies after winning the toss invited India to bat first. India with the help of Dhawan(97), Gill(63) and Iyer(54) crossed 300-run-mark. In response the hosts didn’t have a great start as they lost their opener Shai Hope early. Although Kyle Mayers and Shamarh Brooks tried to establish partnership for the second wicket.
But in 24th over, Shardul Thakur slower back-of-length delivery to Brooks, Brooks played pull shot on it but could not time well and gave an easy catch to Iyer standing at deep square leg. Shreyas Iyer after taking a catch started dancing running in front of the crowd.

After the match, Shreyas Iyer while talking to Siraj revealed the reason of dancing in front of the crowd. He said that crowd was teasing him to drop the catch so when I took the catch, I tried to dance like them in front of them.
