Shreyas Iyer played an extraordinary role in India’s series win against West Indies. Iyer shinned in both the games for India, scoring half centuries in 1st and 2nd ODI game.
Shreyas Iyer slammed terrific 63 runs in the second ODI while chasing the target of 312 runs. His knock was very helpful in winning the second T20 and taking an unassailable lead in the series. Even in the first T20 game, he smashed 54 runs and aided India in crossing 300-run-mark.
After the second ODI match, Shreyas Iyer was talking in post match presentation and he misspelt a word while talking in hindi. This is a replica of the work that you do off the field,” Iyer said before realising his mistake then corrected his mistake and added, “Yaar replica nahi, it’s the wrong word, whatever you see on the field is the result of what you do off the field.”
