Shikhar Dhawan often does something funny on the field which put smile on fans faces. Similar incident happened during the third ODI between India & Zimbabwe.
India after winning the toss, chose to bat first. Shikhar Dhawan came to open the innings with captain KL Rahul. Instead of wearing his own jersey, Dhawan had worn the jersey of bowler Shardul Thakur. Instantly a support staff came in the field and taped the region on which Shardul’s name was written.
Dhawan after scoring 40 runs off 68 balls departed in the over of Brad Evans. Shikhar Dhawan was sitting in dressing room when a fan started showing his placard on which “Shikhar, Can I have yo’ur’ shirt” was written.
Shikhar noticed that placard and then responded in a way which made his teammates Avesh Khan, Ruturaj Gaikwad and KL Rahul laugh badly. Dhawan started removing the T-shit he had worn at that time and then put it back
