India are currently taking on Australia in the semi-final of the Women’s T20 World Cup. Defending champions Australia chose to bat first after winning the toss against women in blue. Healy and Mooney stitched a 43-run stand for the first wicket inside the opening powerplay.
Australia added 50 runs without losing any wicket but after completing 50, captain Healy got dismissed. Mooney kept continuing her wrath and smashed a terrific fifty. But it was Shikha Pandey who brought India roaring back into the game, taking the wicket of Mooney with a stunning catch from Shafali Verma.
After taking the catch, Shafali Verma was seen yelling and her fiery reaction sending a clear message to the opposition. Shafali previously had dropped Mooney on 32 runs so her reaction was justifiable.
