Andre Russell again showed his destructiveness , this time in the inaugural tournament 6ixty. Andre Russell is the part of Trinbago Knight Riders in this tournament.
Trinbago Knight Riders after batting first put on a target of 155 in 10 overs against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots owing to Russell’s masterclass innings of 72 runs off just 24 deliveries. In his 72-run-knock, he whacked 6 sixes in 6 consecutive deliveries.
In the 7th over, Russell amassed 4 sixes on the last 4 deliveries of DC Drakes and in the next over, Russell maintained his flow smashing 2 sixes on first 2 deliveries of JL Jaggesar. Russell completed his half century in just 17 deliveries, however he got dismissed in Jaggesaar’s over and finished his innings on a high note.

Before this tournament, Andre Russell participated in The Hundred League where he performed stupendously for Manchester Originals. Carribbean allrounder last played an international game in T20 World Cup 2021. Since then, he did not show any interest playing for West Indies and now West Indies will be playing their qualifier games for upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia, there is no news that Russell will be part of it.
