Rohit Sharma’s captaincy and his way of showing his emotions were the matter of discussions during first T20 against Australia.
During 12th over of the second innings, Smith edged the ball and it went in wicket-keeper’s hand but umpire gave it not out. But India took review and it was found that the bat was involved as spikes were showing in the ultraedge. And when Smith was marching towards pavilion, Rohit Sharma gave me send-off whose video is getting viral all over the Internet.
Earlier, India set off the target of 208 runs owing to Hardik Pandya’s masterclass 71 runs as well as Suryakumar Yadav’s superb cameo. However, the target was not big for Australia as they chased it down losing their 6 wickets.
Chris Green shone in this terrific victory of Australia who smashed 61 runs as well as Matthew Wade’s 45 runs cameo which helped Australia to get over the line. Axar Patel took 3 wickets in his 4 overs spell but he did not get any support from other bowlers. The Second T20I game will be played on 23rd September.
