Captain Rohit Sharma stole the show completely on Day 2 with his blistering hundred.
On the first day of the BGT test match in Nagpur, Australia bundled out for 177 runs owing to Ravindra Jadeja 5W haul & Ashwin 3W haul. After that, Rohit Sharma hammered a fifty and remained not out at the end of Day 1 alongside Ravi Ashwin.
On Day 2 when other batters were losing their wickets cheaply, Rohit Sharma continued showing his wrath on bowlers and while playing steadily, he scored his 9th test hundred. With this hundred, Rohit also became the first ever Indian captain to score centuries in all three formats.
Rohit also equalised Sachin for scoring most hundreds against Australia as an opener (9). Rohit is currently batting at the score of 109 alongside Jadeja (27)*. India have scored 210 runs and taken 33 runs lead at the loss of 5 wickets.
