Australia beat the hosts comfortably in the first t20 game by 4 wickets.
India set a huge target of 208 runs by the help of Hardik Pandya’s 71 runs & Suryakumar’s outstanding cameo. But the target was not enough as Aussie batters were looking in full flow.
Chris Green who has been phenomenal across the formats for Australia, continued his terrific form and smashed 61 runs in 30 deliveries. Rest of the work was done by Matthew Wade who slammed 45 runs in 21 deliveries and brought Australia to their destiny.
But the moment which caught everyone’s attention happened after Steve Smith survived lbw as India did not take review. On the big screen, it was shown that the delivery was clearly hitting the stumps but Dinesh Karthik did not appeal. After seeing the big screen, Rohit Sharma started shaking his anger on Karthik.
