Ravindra Jadeja made his comeback for Team India in a grand way.
Returning after 6 months, Jadeja was included in the playing XI of first test against Australia in Nagpur. Australia after winning the toss opted to bat first but the openers couldn’t kick off well. Both David Warner & Usman Khawaja went off cheaply owing to brilliant bowling by Siraj & Shami.
But Smith-Labuschagne duo building partnership and creating pressure on Indian bowlers but Jadeja helped India making a comeback by trapping Labuschagne with a astonishing turn. Following Labuschagne, Renshaw also got lbw out against Jadeja’s fiery bowling.
But the wicket which got huge applauds was of Steve Smith who was dismissed by a straight delivery by Jadeja which knocked off his stumps. Jadeja scalped 3W haul in 17 overs in his first spell. Australia is currently batting on 168 at the loss of 6 wickets.
