Indian women are taking on Australian Women in Commonwealth Gold medal match. It is the most crucial game for both the teams. Both sides must be looking to win gold medal for their countries by thrashing each other.
The match is being played in Edgabaston. Australian opted to bat first after winning the toss. However, they could not kick off well as Alyssa Healy walked away on the score of 7 in the 3rd over of Renuka Singh. After that, Beth Mooney and Meg Lanning added 74 runs for the second wicket. Lanning got mixed up with Mooney while running and became the prey of Radha Yadav’s brilliant fielding.
But the moment which made the spectators to laud came in 12th over. Deepti Sharma came to bowl Tahlia McGrath, on just the first delivery, Tahlia played cut shot to the left of Backward point region. Radha Yadav who was standing there did not miss the chance, she grabbed the ball by diving acrobatically.
