India registered one of the finest test wins this year in the second test match against Bangladesh.
In the mirpur test, India thrashed Bangladesh by 3 wickets and whitewashed them by 2-0. India had to chase 145 to win the game, then Ravinchandran Ashwin & Shreyas Iyer made a scintillating partnership and chased the target from a difficult situation.
Ashwin whacked astounding 42 runs in 62 deliveries with the help of 4 fours & a six whereas Shreyas Iyer made 29 runs off 46 and won the game making 71-run partnership with R Ashwin.
Ashwin came to bat when India were struggling on 74 runs with the loss of 7 wickets and finished off the match in style scoring 6,2,0,0,4,4 before the victory. Apart from performing with the bat, he also picked 6 wickets in the game. For the all-round performance, he was chosen players of the match.
