Watch – Pakistan wicket-keeper had a brain fade moment, missed an easy runout

Pakistan’s women team wicket-keeper Muneeba Ali had a brain fade moment against Australia.

During an ODI game between Australian Women and Pakistan Women on Saturday, January 21 at North Sydney Oval in North Sydney, Australia, Muneeba Ali who is the wicket-keeper of the Pakistan team missed out an easy runout of Australian batter Jess Jonnasen.

Pakistan Women captain Bismah Maroof won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia had a great start as they added 160 runs for the second wicket owing to the partnership between Meg Lanning and Beth Mooney for the second wicket. Mooney was in a phenomenal touch as she smashed 133 runs off 105 deliveries.

In the last over of Australia’s innings, batter Jonnasen ran for a run towards the non-striker’s end but she intended to return back as there was no run. In the meantime, wicket-keeper Muneeba got the grasp of the ball and rather than running Jonnasen out, she tried to get back behind the stumps in order to knock her off via stumping but Jonnasen had already reached inside her crease when Muneeba tried to stump her.
