England clinched victory in the second test against Pakistan in Multan.
The visitors thrashed the hosts by 26 runs and took an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series. It is Pakistan’s third consecutive loss in tests at their home soil. On Day 4 of test match, Pakistan were on 198/4 and chasing 355 runs but their innings collapsed on the score of 326.
Pakistan were in good position at the start of the day as Shakeel & Imam-ul-Haq hammered their respective half-centuries but they could not last long against the relentless bowling of pacer Mark Wood who dismissed both the batters before the lunch. Pakistan lost 5 of their wickets on 210 runs and eventually they were bundled out on the score of 326.
Ollie Robinson picked the last wicket of Pakistan in the form of Mohammad Ali. However, after the dismissal Ali decided to go for review, in the meantime, England captain Ben Stokes came to Ali and tried to shake hands with him but Ali refused as he was waiting for the decision to be reviewed.
