Cricket stadiums have provided tremendous reasons for joy to every spectator. And if one of the reasons is giving a proposal to your girlfriend and being accepted in a whole packed stadium, what could be better than this.
A similar incident happened in the Hampshire vs Somerset match in the 2nd semi-final of England’s T20 blast tournament at Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham.
Hampshire won the toss and opted to bat first. They put up a score of 190/6 with the help of Tom Priest’s half-century. Somerset tried their best but fell 37 runs short and Hampshire qualified for the final.
Among all the cricket action an incident caught all the attraction of the viewers when a fan proposed to his better half with a ring. She didn’t waste a moment thinking and accepted. Both hugged each other as the whole stadium congratulated them with loud cheers and clapping.
The video started spreading over social media like a forest fire. Every fan around the world liked the incident.
It’s not confirmed whose supporters the duo were. But doesn’t matter whether they were the supporter of the winning team or the losing team as they both became the winner at the end of the day
