Liam Livingstone again surprised everyone by his monstrous power hitting in warmup game against Pakistan.
England after winning the toss invited Pakistan to bat first. Opener Shan Masood remained the top-scorer from Pakistan side who smacked 39 runs off 22 deliveries. Mohammad Wasim also played a good cameo of 26 runs off 16 deliveries. Pakistan managed to put on 160/8 total on the board.
While chasing, England lost both of their openers early but Ben Stokes who was promoted to bat at number 3 slammed 36 runs in just 18 balls with the help of 2 fours & 3 sixes. But the most eye catching moment of the game arrived in 9th over when Liam Livingstone whacked Shadab Khan’s half volley delivery for a colossal six.
The six was so big that the ball sailed over the roof of the stadium and left the fans in awe. Livingstone is prominent for hitting huge sixes. In IPL 2022, he hit a 117-meter long six off Mohammed Shami. Livingstone finished his knock on 28 runs by facing 16 deliveries and England won the game by 6 wickets.
