KL Rahul became the hero of the match when he ran out Bangladeshi batter with his superb throw.
India set a total of 184 runs in 20 overs on the board owing to half centuries of KL Rahul (50) & Virar Kohli (64)*. SuryaKumar Yadav also played an excellent cameo of 30 runs in 16 balls. Later, Ashwin’s cameo was cherry on cake as India managed to cross 180 runs with ease.
While chasing, Bangladesh had a great start as they scored 67/0 in 7 overs. Liton Das was smashing the ball all over the park but then rain arrives and match got interrupted for about an hour. After that, match was reduced to 16 overs & target shrunk to 151 runs as per DLS method.
After the rain, in the 8th over, Liton Das became prey of KL Rahul’s magnificent fielding. Liton Das got run-out when he was trying to steal 2 runs at non-striker’s end. KL Rahul’s brilliant throw from deep mid-wicket knocked the stumps off and Liton Das had to depart .
