Watch – KL Rahul’s nice gesture after the serious victory

India whitewashed Bangladesh in the test series by 2-0.

Men in blue overwhelmed the opposition Bangaladesh in the second test by 3 wickets owing to outstanding partnership between Ravinchandran Ashwin & Shreyas Iyer for the 8th wicket. Ashwin remained unbeaten on 42 runs whereas Shreyas Iyer made 29 runs before the winning run came from Ashwin’s bat.

After the victory, KL Rahul demonstrated a nice gesture, of handling over the winning trophy to a youngster. The youngster was Saurabh Kumar, who replaced injured Jadeja in this series. However, he did not get to play any of the game of 2-match series.

“You trust the guys in the middle (during such situations). We’ve played enough cricket to realise that someone will put their hand up to win us the game. But I’m not going to lie, there was a lot of tension in the dressing room. It was a tough wicket to bat on, they put us under pressure in both innings. It was a new-ball surface to some extent, once ball got softer, it was easier to score runs,” captain Rahul said after the win.
