Women’s Premier League (WPL) is all set to kickstart from Saturday.
Before the first encounter, a grand ceremony was organised in which Bollywood actors Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon and Punjabi singer and rapper AP Dhillon owned the stage with their performances. Host Mandira Bedi kicked off the celebrations ahead of the historic edition of the WPL.
Earlier, Kriti Sanon captivated the audience with his fiery dance performance, followed by Kiara Advani splendid dance performance on Bollywood song which set the stage on fire. Then singer AP Dhillon sang his hit songs and then all 3 stars gathered together on the stage to end the grand show.
After the show, all 5 Women’s Premier League captains Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians) Smriti Mandhana (Royal Challengers Bangalore), Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals), Beth Mooney (Gujarat Giants) and Alyssa Healy (UP Warriorz) came together on the stage along with the unveiled WPL trophy.
