Watch – Jos Buttler’s reaction when Steve Smith refused to leave after getting dismissed

A bizarre incident took place during the final ODI between Australia & England.

Batter Steve Smith was playing on 21 runs off 15 deliveries in Melbourne Cricket stadium tried to play scoop over wicket-keeper’s head on the next delivery but he couldn’t have the contact of the ball with his bat as the ball had touched his gloves and went into wicket-keeper Jos Buttler’s hands.

After the catch, Smith was standing in his crease instead of walking towards pavilion and then Jos Buttler shouted angrily ‘howzat’ after that the umpire Wilson gave Smith the signal of getting out and then Smith headed towards pavilion.

Talking about the result, Australian scored 355 runs in their first innings owing to Warner & Head’s brilliant centuries. While chasing down the target, England bundled out for 142 runs and completely surrendered to them and lost the game by 221 runs.
