The pitch of the first test between England & Pakistan has been a paradise for batters.

England after batting first put on a mammoth total of 657/10 runs on the board. Crawley, Duckett, Brook & Pope slammed centuries on the first day and created history. In response Pakistan batters too joined the party. Pakistan scored 579/10 in the first innings.

From Pak side, Shafique, Babar Azam & Imam-ul-haq scored centuries and Agha Salman scored a half century. England is currently batting on 181 at the loss 3 wickets in their second innings in 2nd session of Day 1.

Joe Root is batting on 71 runs off 65 balls at the moment and making mockery of Pakistan bowlers. Root played some of the most unorthodox shots taking full advantage of the pitch. On one delivery, Root started batting left-handedly and swept the ball for four.
