Team India thrashed South Africa in the must win second ODI and equalled the series by 1-1.
India after winning the toss invited South Africa to bat first. South Africa with the help of Hendricks’ 74 runs & Markram’s 79 runs set a target of 278 runs on the board. David Miller & Klaasen also played 35 & 30 runs cameo.
While chasing, India lost their openers early again but Shreyas Iyer & Ishan Kishan made 161 runs partnership and won the game for India. Shreyas Iyer smashed his second ODI hundred. Iyer remained unbeaten on 113 runs by taking 111 deliveries.
While Ishan Kishan smashed 93 runs in 84 deliveries, missed his maiden international hundred by 7 runs. In his knock, he whacked 7 sixes & 4 fours. Among his 7 sixes, he smashed back to back sixes in 32nd over of Anrich Nortje towards deep mid-wicket region.
